With the ground thaw and temperature warm up that comes with spring and summer, work on the new Elyria High School is progressing at record speeds. All below grade masonry work is complete and work continues on the masonry walls of the new athletic facility and academic wing. Here's what you can look forward to in June and July: masonry work continues on the athletic facility, academic wing and auditorium; below-slab electrical work for the auditorium, poured concrete slabs in the academic wing and auditorium, a new roof and skylight on the Washington Building; and further abatement and demolition of existing structures.
